“The Girls from Ipanema” is Denise Krammer’s newest project, accompanied by her Brazilian vibraphonist Bruna Cabral. Both have tropical rhythms in blood. They charmingly interpret bossa nova and original compositions, improvising live to a furious mix of traditional Brazilian rhythms and jazz. Upon request, the “Girls from Ipanema” also perform as a trio or quartet with Brazilian drums and percussion.
